We've all heard it: Statistics lie.
Well in fact they don't. The interpretations lie. Sometimes the data sets lie - that's getting more common. Implying causality from a too small data set - that's lying.
So what do you do when even statistics that are stretched to a shape that resembles nothing in the know universe can't hide what you've been doing. Easy - swap data sets. If you simply stop tracking the things you want to cover up, it's really hard to point to the data and say - See, you did screw it all up. And that's exactly what Obama and his butt munching morons have done.
For some inexplicable (must hide the Obama Lies) reason, the census bureau has decided to toss out the old and cover up with the new.

Idiot Factory™ has a question
So apparently the President of WWU (Western Washington University) thinks the school is too white.
He wants to know what to do about it. Hell, that's easy - All you white folk - go to a different university. Problem solved. Even better, save your money, and skip the Idiot Factory™ all together.
We can see in the chart - mostly white is pretty much what you get when you take a cross section of the population of WA. - A fair number of those Hispanic's are in eastern WA, where they might prefer CWSU or even WSU, being closer to home. So what the hell is he hoping for? Oh yeah, diversity. PC BULLSHIT. What? Whitey don't pay their bills? Not getting enough tuition? You PC mongering moron.
And who is this President of WWU?
Wow, now there's a surprise - Political Science ( interestingly a BA not a BS - because, not really science). And from California, then Oregon. It's like the Creeping Crud oozing it's way north.
There was a time that Western was an Okay school, apparently not so much anymore.
BLI says roughly 40% of jobs require a degree - yet 60% of workforce has one. So just how much good did that degree in Pop Culture do for you? Paid off that DEBT yet? Yeah, didn't think so.

Shepard's academic background includes bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in political science from the University of California, Riverside.

There might be some good news in there, somewhere
We all know everyone in the White House is a hypocrite, no surprises there. So Apparently they've used the might Pen and Phone to ban junk food from schools
Take a look at the images below - more HERE.
I wonder if this means the schools will be Obama Free Zones?

Nothing to worry about - move along
I find it.... the list of adverbs is really long so let's just say disgusted, with our humble hat in hand approach to China. No I don't want to start a war, but on the other hand, we're entitled (yeah I really mean entitled) to protect our nations infrastructure, our military, and corporate research, which we spend billions on. We should not be going to China to reassure them that our efforts to beef up our Cyber Warfare capability means we're all still good friends. They keep stealing from us, they keep attacking us and we just smile and say well - it's not like they're starting a war or anything.
The hell they're not. It's not a war of bombs and guns (yet - might never be, then again...) It is a war of information, of national security and at the moment they're wining. Unlike territory, cyber warfare is not entirely a zero sum game, but it's pretty damn close. If they crash the power grid they'll kill millions, and destroy the already fragile, some would say collapsing, economy. If they steal corporate research and the sell the end result - they're competing with companies our economy depend on for jobs - at our expense.
When I was younger I used to hear a lot of talk about how information should be free - well, sure some of it should. If the public is paying for it, then the public should have access to it - it's a sad truth that if it's available to anyone here, it's available to anyone in the world - for the same price (or less).
On the other hand, if I spend $200 million on a new battery technology, it would be nice if I got a chance to recoup that investment before the Chinese put me out of business selling my new battery. They on the other hand would like nothing better than to put me out of business by stealing my research.
So, I really don't care if the Chinese get annoyed that we might not let them keep up their cyber attacks and theft - too damn bad.

Hmm. 114 years of Physics is wrong?
So, almost everything done in physics in the last umm 114 years has a problem. Maybe
It's not really Kirchhoff's fault. If Prof. Pierre-Marie Robitaille is right, that is... Then again, it makes it hard to explain why so many predictions are verified, based on based on the constants developed based on Kirchhoff's Law of Thermal Emissions. If one of the Law's of Physics is wrong, you'd think predicted results made based on that law, perhaps might not manifest - yet they do.
Now, keep in mind, every time we think we know something about the universe it turns out to be, well... Not Quite Right. Newton was right until Einstein, who was right until... well he's still mostly right, just not about everything. So, is it possible? I guess...
Not being a expert in thermodynamics, nor a physicist it's difficult for me to tell. But until I see more support for his claims - a lot more, color me a skeptic.
I'll have to watch this one, it could be interesting.
