What's the difference between a progressive and an adolescent

The adolescent is looking forward to growing up and doing things on their own.  The progressive still wants their nanny.

WAWA Lies

So there's this video - well two actually - one that shows the entire bit with Romney talking about WAWAs - and the cheap shot taken by MSNBC.  

Compression is one thing but to pick and chose out of 3min and 21second of video and come up with less than 15 second - to make a guy sound like he's out of touch?   Seriously?    If they have to work that hard at it maybe - just maybe - they're full of shit.

Not a Pro

A buddy and I have been building a storage space, using concrete block 8x8x16"   Neither of us are pro's at this but it's getting done.   I've been afraid to add it all up but it's a lot of blocks (over 1000) and a lot of 80# bags of mortar, and a lot of bags of cement - it's sort of like exercise - you end up really tired, but with something you can use when it's done.

An interesting approach

Sebastian pointed this little gem out.    The approach seems to be: Find an example of someone doing it wrong and use that as an argument to invalidate the law.

So:

We have someone speeding - which is against the law.  Obviously the law doesn't work and needs to be eliminated.

Someone murders someone - which is against the law.  Guess  we need to eliminate that law too - since it didn't work.

Hmmm....

And another one bites the dust

King Obama has decide it was time to take another axe to the constitution.
I can hear him thinking:

To hell with the constitution - and congress - and voters - I'll just use my trusty pen and make it so.

 Meanwhile another King is planning to sue him for it.   If it were only that easy.

Sounds Suspect to Me

If your going to have a conspiracy, having one to cover up the zombie apocalypse would be perfect - Oh, except for the all the decaying corpses walking around - that might be hard to hide.

Cannibals.  In Miami.  Eating the faces off of homeless people.  Is the world getting more nuts or is the internet just making us all nuts because we now hear about every damn thing almost as soon as it happens.    Egg - Chicken - Chicken - Egg.....    Both maybe?
