It makes perfect sense really. Sequestration results in layoffs, layoffs bump unemployment, unemployment perceived as a bad thing. Solution: tell companies to break the law, not issue mandatory layoff notices, and that tax payers will pick up the bill for the law suits. DC-Think at it's finest.
