Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics

We've all heard it:  Statistics lie.

Well in fact they don't.  The interpretations lie.  Sometimes the data sets lie - that's getting more common.  Implying causality from a too small data set - that's lying.

So what do you do when even statistics that are stretched to a shape that resembles nothing in the know universe can't hide what you've been doing.   Easy - swap data sets.  If you simply stop tracking the things you want to cover up, it's really hard to point to the data and say - See, you did screw it all up.   And that's exactly what Obama and his butt munching morons have done.

For some inexplicable (must hide the Obama Lies) reason, the census bureau has decided to toss out the old and cover up with the new.
